This Victorian Oasis is a fully renovated-historic row house located in the heart of DC. It has lots of natural light, is fully furnished and decorated in a ecletic-worldly way. This home is perfect for business guests and tourists wanting to have fun in DC. It is the perfect home away from home. This is how close all things are and walking distance to lounges to chill and relax with friends, pharmacy (Walgreens just around the corner), health-food grocery stores (Trader Joe’s on same street), gyms, boutiques, numerous hip and cool restaurants, clubs, and bars. A half a block from U Street and a green line metro station -- that was the perfect combo for our needs: good restaurants and easy access to Smithsonian museums. We ate in the neighborhood all three nights (Barcelona, Doi Moi and Eatopia) and happy with all. Self check-in and check-out were easy, too. Each bedroom has a double bed that can sleep two. Two full baths (and a half bath on main floor) also a plus. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook in. We chose to rent a private parking space just around the corner. Very convenient and safe. FYI If you're arriving on a weekday before 5 p.m., it looks like it's pretty easy to get street parking right outside the front door. Rental owner offers that as an option, too. ##### Teri W. Very nice town home with comfy beds, nice kitchen and outside. It’s close to great food and entertainment, Metro and shopping. Quiet neighborhood but close to nightlife. Hostess was quick to respond to any questions. Nice eclectic furnishings. The only thing I would have liked to have had was a little more comfortable seating in the living room.
