  • This quaint 130-year-old all-brick townhouse is ideally located in the heart of historic Georgetown. WALK SCORE 97! It is on a quiet one-way side street literally one block from Wisconsin Ave, your destination for cafes, restaurants, bistros, shopping and antique browsing.

    The home offers ~1150 square feet over three finished levels with plentiful natural sunlight. Desirable amenities include hardwood floors, two wood burning fireplaces, skylights, a private deck, and brick patio. The main level has an open sitting area facing the fireplace and large TV, and dining area with table seating for 5. It overlooks the deck and the back yard. A fully stocked kitchen with center island greets you. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with king bed and a second bedroom with a full bed and desk. A full bath with tub separates the two bedrooms. The lower level is an adorable full studio with sliding doors to the back patio. It features a fireplace, sitting area, queen bed, a roll-away twin bed, kitchenette and full bathroom. Fenced backyard and deck provides space for outdoor relaxation or entertaining.

    Note that the home has the original floors and stairs, a quaint feature, however the stairs are steeper and narrower than you would find in today’s homes. Also, the master bedroom is open to the main floor, one floor below, (so the skylight provides light on both levels). Consequently, this home is not a good choice for toddlers or anyone challenged by stairs. Please inquire about our other properties in Georgetown.

    Leave your car at home, there are abundant options for transportation in the area including our robust Metro system, Uber and Lyft, the Metro and Circulator buses, shared bikes, scooters, and cars, (Free to Move). Consult or the CityMapper app to plan your movement around DC. If you are driving, we can order you a street parking permit. Please check with us first on this, we will need the car make, model, and the plate state & number.

The location was fantastic and made everything easy. The layout was ideal for our group, giving parents and adult children their own spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of pans for cooking meals together.A few areas were a little rough around the edges, and adding more comfortable seating in the living room would make it even better for relaxing as a group.We still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenience of the spot.

Great Place for Family DC Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint house. The location is perfect ! very close to restaurants and shops but also on a quiet street with limited noise. So nice that there was a small backyard - great, particularly for a city stay. All of the amenities were good. The kitchen was equipped, W/D, bathrooms on the top floor and bottom (basement floor). I think because it was a older house - the temperature can be a bit variable between the floors. There are fans though that can be placed around the house. Unfortunately, one of the chairs in thd bedroom broke when my friend set a bag on it and one of the chairs in the back was wobbly. The faucet in the upstairs bathroom was difficult to turn off and getting in and out of the shower a bit tricky without a handle bar. These can easily be fixed. I provided feedback before i left (nothing was super important that needed to be fixed during the stay).Overall, the price point is great for the place and would stay there again! Thanks very much!

Highly recommend this beautiful Georgetown home. The three bedroom home is very clean, comfortable and a fabulous location. Walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The neighbors are friendly and helpful as well. My family and I enjoyed our stay!

Very quaint location in the heart of Georgetown. Everything was wonderful! I will say that the temperature in the upstairs part of the house was warmer than I would've preferred during the heatwave. Lower floors were much more comfortable!

Family stay in Georgetown

This house is in a great location. The property was extremely clean. The property has a lovely backyard. We were extremely impressed by the property management company, as they were very responsive. We made changes to our reservation, and they always answer the phone and were pleasant and helpful. We will definitely use them again.
