It was all in all a lovely, clean, and accommodating space the entire stay. It is a short uber ride to downtown DC, or even shorter to the nearest metro station that will get you to anywhere in the city. The immediate neighborhood is safe and I had no issues myself walking around day or night. I would recommend a short uber to the metro station instead of a walk but it was short and accessible. Wenny was a great host who was exceptional at communicating, helpful, and kind. She was there for help, but let me enjoy my stay autonomously where I felt it was my own space. Lastly, a great price for the access to the DC area. Thank you again. ##### Kevin G. The area the host lives is going under gentrification. The neighborhood that the host is nice, but getting to and from is rough in places. If you are a single woman I would only rent this place if you own a car or take Ubers. The buses are ok in the daytime, but night it gets rougher. As someone without a car, during the daytime I walked to the metro 1.2 miles and took walks around the neighborhood. I took the bus during the day and night and Ubers at night. ##### Michelle D.
