The host was super responsive, and accommodating when we had to slightly change our dates. The setting was peaceful and serene- especially with a fresh blanket of snow. The driveway up to the cabin did become a little slick in the snow, so ended up parking at the base and walking up, which was just fine! I'm sure the host would given us a lift up the hill had we asked, but we were happy get the extra exercise.
