Other amenities include a Weber gas grill, Spectrum TV/High Speed Wifi, DVD player, full sized washer/dryer, complete kitchen appliances with table service for 8, telephone and answering machine. Beautiful secluded cabin located near Blue Rock State Forest and Jesse Owens State Park. On site activities include fishing, swimming, canoeing, campfires and relaxing in the peaceful hammock and hot tub. Local area attractions include visiting The Wilds Nature Preserve, Longaberger Basket Company, Blue Rock State Park and Blue Rock State Forest (4500 acres that are great for hiking/fishing/swimming/hunting), Jesse Owens State Park and Wildlife Area, visit nearby antique and pottery shops in Zanesville or have dinner and ice cream at one of the local favorites. Muskingum River system offers boating, fishing or visiting the locks during the summer months. We cooked breakfast every morning, there was plenty of cookware to do so. We sat on the deck in the mornings drinking our coffee and listened to the song of birds chirping and watching the squirrels frolic in the yard. In the evenings we sat by the fire-pit outback it was so beautiful to watch the moonlight shine on the pond. Very clean cabin with everything needed for a great stay. Definitely recommend.
