"Myself and 2 family members chose the Aalsmeer houseboat to explore Amsterdam and Keukenhof gardens. The houseboat is super cute. It’s a 35 minute walk to the bus station and we took an Uber for 10 euros because it was raining. Then bus to Hoofddorp to catch a train to Schiphol airport then on to Amsterdam Centraal station. "Unterkunft entsprach unserer Erwartung, liegt direkt im Hafen, viele Boote, umzäuntes Gelände, sonst nicht viel drum rum. Der Ort Leimuiden fussläufig ca 15 min. Wir haben die Lage des Objektes genutzt, um die großen Städte zu erkunden: Den Haag, Rotterdam, Amsterdam. Ab dem Nachbarort fährt der Zug, wenn man sich die Parkgebühren, die teils immens sind, sparen möchte. Die ruhige Lage des Objektes war super, Einkaufen kann man im Nachbarort."

"We had such a lovely and easy going stay on the Ms Luctor. We were conveniently located near Centraal Station and could get anywhere we wanted with the bikes available to us. Breakfast every morning was such a treat. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had just enough apartment-like space to be cozy while visiting Amsterdam."

This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading.
