"Pros: great location, great value (executive room just over£100)for large room with sofa and chairs. Quiet (upper floors) Cons: everything a bit tired. Not dirty just tired. No aircon (fan was provided). Parking limited (we walked 10 mins from JustPark space). Sofa in room uncomfortable. Breakfast only continental (ok - nothing to write home about - plenty of cafes nearby) Would I use again - probably."

"I had an overall pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location with beautiful grounds, making it a relaxing place to stay while still being conveniently located for Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was straightforward. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bed was particularly comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas that could have been better. The water pressure in the shower was quite weak and could definitely have been stronger. I also noticed some dust around the toilet area, so a little more attention to detail when cleaning the bathroom would have been appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and relaxing. With a few improvements to the bathroom cleanliness and shower pressure, it would have been an even better experience."

"Fab place to stay in Cheltenham if you want to be in the centre of things. Very friendly staff, lovely rooms with high quality fixtures eg Dyson fans and hairdryers and Bang and Olufsen TV and a nice mini bar selection."

"We returned from a very busy day at 10.30 to find that our room had not been serviced - we had not opted into the scheme whereby guests can forgo a clean and receive a voucher to be used in the bar. Miguel went out of his way to supply the required teas, coffees towels etc. Thank you for your help Miguel."

"The hotel being contact free and having a code to get in is super convenient! Reduces the stress of having to get to the hotel at a certain time which was nice for us, when we arrived there was 1 staff member at the bar who was very friendly and gave us directions to our room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean, there was plenty of shower gel, shampoo etc. Its in a very beautiful and safe area and the hotel itself is very quiet. Its right by the main road so it can be loud at night if the windows are open. The bath plug also didnt work properly so when I was having a bath, the water just drained, but the shower was really nice."
