I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was as expected for our vacation stay. Unit 3D is excellently maintained and has all the needed beach supplies. The Ocean Club is great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It has the best location on the island, near beautiful resorts and beaches (Maniniowali, Kauna’oa and Hapuna are out of this world)!! There is a $25 fee daily for the pool and restaurant use but that, too, is worth it! The 180+ degree view of the ocean from the pool is amazing and the sunsets are spectacular! The pool is lovely although it only gets 4 feet deep. The chef at the restaurant is incredible and makes delicious food! Kathy is a great server- very attentive and friendly. The 3D condo itself is tastefully decorated and comfortable (although an extra arm chair would be great). The views from the lanai are amazing and the grounds are meticulously cared for! The property was perfect for our needs. The pool was great and the views were unmatched! We had an amazing time watching whales and gorgeous sunsets. The location made it easy to go out and about during the day and come back and relax in the evening. My only complaint is that I’m allergic to fragrance so the sheets caused a reaction due to being washed in scented laundry detergent. The pillows were also extremely flat. First obstacle was our original location, and the fact that mold found. However, this was rectified, prior to our arrival, by the property management, with the offer of an upgrade, which we took! The second obstacle Was the tsunami. And, the need for temporary evacuation. However, the evacuation was brief. The communication with the property owners was excellent.
