"Good stay and we would be happy to return next time. Some things could be improved: - only one of the electric car chargers was functioning, the other should be fixed - nice to have a toaster available at breakfast time - juice at breakfast could be fresher & nicer - we asked for a mattress protection for the kids’ bed and all that could be found was a bin-bag. The service was appreciated, but it would be easy to buy a few proper fitted protection sheets"

"Only stayed for one night and arrived very late didn't see much of the facilities. But it was good that check in was available till late. Breakfast area clean and good variety of food."

"Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. So much so that my wife fell on the floor thinking she was leaning on the bed - but was actually just the mattress topper overhanging the mattress by about 6 inches! Overall this is a lovely place but could do with modernising. "
