La maison est entourée d'un immense jardin arboré où divers endroits ont été aménagés (transats, salon de jardin, bancs...). 2 bassins sécurisés recouverts de plantes aquatiques accueillent quelques grenouilles.Nous avons même pu apercevoir, à la tombée du jour, 2 faons et leur mère venir se nourrir des graines déposées par le propriétaire. "A lovely week in the middle of the Dordogne. Great location. The view of the chateaux was great. We regularly used the gas bbq. Bonus to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Very spacious. Great to have the boulangerie so close."

"Stayed for 12 nights in this beautiful property. 4 adults and 1 dog. Stephanie showed us how everything worked when we arrived and provided extra towels for our friends. This is a large property full of character but with all modern amenities. The outside terrace is fully enclosed so ideal for a dog. The village of Montfort has a bakery for morning bread, croissants and delicious pastries. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back."

"A lovely place to stay, nice to have lots of room inside and out with a great sized pool. Parking right outside with easy access to Sarlet and many Chateau’s in the surrounding area. All round a great place to use as a base in this part of the Dordogne."

The house and pool are secluded and private but very convenient for Sarlat, the river and various chateaux. The house was ideally arranged for our party so that the young family could occupy the rooms and bathroom on the first floor and there were still two good sized bedrooms with their own en-suites on the ground floor for the other...
