« The kitchen only had five spoons. In fact, the kitchen was so ill equipped. We thought maybe this home was only rented out to people who will eat out all the time. This family cooks so that was a little bit of a challenge. Also, the step on the outside of the deck was too wobbly rocks. My husband is 80 I’m almost 80 and it wasn’t exactly a safe situation to be stepping up on a rock and then onto the deck to get into the front door. « Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. »
