Hotels in Viladellops, Olerdola

Whilst Viladellops is a beautiful destination year-round, the best time to visit is during the shoulder seasons of April to June and September to October.During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 18°C to 25°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the vineyards, olive groves, and the charming village on foot or by bicycle without the intense heat of summer. You'll also find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and authentic experience. The grape harvest often takes place in September and October, offering a unique opportunity to witness the winemaking process first-hand at local bodegas. For those who prefer hotter weather and don't mind more visitors, July and August offer consistently high temperatures, often exceeding 30°C. This is great for enjoying the outdoor pools at your accommodation or taking day trips to the nearby beaches on the Costa Daurada. However, some local businesses might have shorter hours or close for a siesta during the hottest part of the day.Winter, from November to March, is cooler and can be quite tranquil, with temperatures averaging between 10°C and 15°C. While it's not ideal for sunbathing, it's a wonderful time for cosy evenings by a fireplace, enjoying hearty Catalan cuisine, and experiencing the region's natural beauty without any crowds.
