"The kitchen in this place was the largest of any we had. The location left a lot to be desired if we had to go to get anywhere. Because it was Easter weekend we never saw any staff at all."

"This was a very convenient stay for Christchurch area. An easy walk into the centre, close to lovely green spaces. I took the bus from the airport and this hotel was close to a bus stop and also to Christchurch Station for the Kiwi Rail and Tranzalpine Railway. Great having a restaurant onsite and the options for room service were varied and reasonably priced. "

"The room was clean and very large with two queen beds and plenty of space for suitcases. There is a shared kitchen in the lodge building that was small but functional We parked our car but noticed every other space was taken. Perhaps there was another area to park that we did not see. "
