"Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!"

The staff at this motel is great and very friendly. The food in the restaurant is very good and get what you pay for. I highly recommend this motel anytime I go to North Sydney. This is where I will be staying.

It was really a nice stay at this motel - the staff was very friendly and the rooms were excellent. Would definately stay at same place if visiting Cobat trail again.

This was one of our favourite stays while visiting Nova Scotia/Cape Breton. The hotel was kept very clean and cozy and we loved that there was a tea/coffee room at the end of every hallway on each floor. Our room was quaint and beautifully vintage and there was unique art hung across all the walls. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Loved that it was so centrally located as well! We had the most incredible stay! The view from our deck was stunning. Room was modest but clean, and water pressure in shower was perfect. Microwave and mini fridge in room and hot breakfast in the morning is a definite plus. There is also a cozy fire pit and wood available. Just minutes from Englishtown ferry. Service and staff are the absolute best!! They went above and beyond to accommodate and were so warm, friendly and inviting. Cannot wait to back for a visit!!
