"We stared with a 20 min delay to check in as there was only one staff. We were then told our two rooms were not together which I had to argue for. Then we went to the swimming facilities which this property is the only reason we went and us a major selling point. We were told the swimming facilities were full and we would not be gained entry. After promising children this after 9 hours of driving absolutely sucked. No water or drinks with breakfast really topped it off. Absolutely rubbish."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Les Patios du Marais in Paris was extremely disappointing. The overall cleanliness and hygiene standards were far below what should be acceptable for any hotel or accommodation. The garden area had mice and rats running around, which was shocking and very uncomfortable. The room itself appeared only superficially cleaned. The carpet was visibly dirty, and the bathroom was incredibly small and unpleasant. The worst part was the shower area, which had a terrible smell, almost like vomit or sewage. It made using the bathroom genuinely unpleasant throughout the stay. The photos online do not reflect the actual condition of the property. While the location is good, the experience itself was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in Paris. I would not return and would not recommend this property to anyone expecting basic cleanliness, comfort, or proper maintenance."

"Apparently in France it is a requirement that hotels switch on their air conditioning system no later than May 28th. France was going through a hot spell with daytime temperatures in Paris of 31°c. The hotel was very hot inside and our room was even hotter. I went to talk to the Front Desk about it and was told no AC until May 28th. Other family members stayed that night in the Hilton next door and that hotel was fully air conditioned. The result for us was that we spent an unimaginably uncomfortable night in an room that must have been about 86° or 87° with absolutely no airflow from the heating/cooling unit in our room - no airflow at all. This was a truly terrible experience."

"The staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean and the security was good. The only problems were that they never received my request for 2 beds. But, they found a room on the day we arrived. The shower was difficult to access and the bathtub side was too high. It was difficult for me to get in and out of the shower."

"The property was fantastic! It was right near the Zaan Sebastian metro which is central to all sights. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. The hotel was near to shopping, food, and just pleasurable walking. The junior suite was roomy and well appointed. It would be tight for three with a lot of luggage, but perfect for 2 people with average luggage. Plan on bringing my daughter back. Loved it!"
