"Check in was simple via a key press. The owner spoke a little English which helped. Had to purchase magic sponges to clean the pool to prevent yellow line build up! Local shop within walking distance had everyday things handy. Bit too far to walk to the beach through the woods which meant cycling or the car. Overall very nice place."

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"Fabulous fisherman's cabin, just the place if you want to get away from noise and people. Was wonderful to sit on the front decking listening to the water, seabirds and nightingales Cabin fantastically well equipped for both cooking and eating. "We had a great time at Hotel de Margaux. We stayed in the Suite Vénitienne which is a large apartment in a little chateau close to the hotel with a view on a nice pool and a vineyard. The host was very nice. Too bad that their restaurant was closed and we had to go outside for dinner."
