« The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids. »

« Location was great and staff was great. Everything was newly painted. However rooms need new beds and pillows. The first room we went to was very musty and damp #114. I could not have slept there. The rooms are very small. Fridge did not work either. Would not stay here again due to the bed. We got no sleep. There was a whole in mattress and I rolled into him all night. »

« Didn’t like we had to stay in an outdated building and had to walk to the main building for everything. Didn’t like that our keys didn’t work and we had to walk back to main building. Food at all the restaurants was good.. room was clean. »

« This property has a lot of character and amazing views. It’s not a new or fancy place but it was clean and it’s a great location. We were checked in by Kathy who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and had a lovely balcony with a small table and two chairs. We really enjoyed sitting out there and looking at the river, bridge and downtown. The room was okay, the only negative was that the sheets were old and had “pills” of material. During the night of our stay...
