The breakfast is pretty good. It is clean. Not much freeway noise. Compared to the other similarly priced motels in Vernon it is my choice.

Unfortunately the place was dirty and falling apart; staff was great but all comforters and towels were stained. The sink and toilet had hair in them and the shower was stained and absolutely disgusting. Everything in the room was breaking

Look like it had been fully renovated in the photos when I got there the hotel room itself had new flooring not terrible looking at all, but the bathroom ceiling had mold all over the bathtub was old and needed repaired.

I want to start out by saying that my husband and I are far from picky. All we ask for is a dog friendly location that is clean and well kept. When we pulled down the sheets in the first room, there were multiple hairs, including a pubic hair. When we contacted the front desk, they moved us to another room. There were stains on the sheets that he claimed were bleach stains, but they looked more like ejaculation spots. There were several hairs as well. As we inspected the room in front of the employee, he became aggressive and insisted that "this was not the property for us and he can't accommodate us" and that "we were looking for issues." We packed up and drove another hour, finding a La Quinta, which was immaculate. Don't waste your time staying here

A bit noisy with the highway traffic. The curtains in the room did not close well and blew about in the fan from the window unit. Overall a nice place, inexpensive and very tidy and clean.

I already called and complained to Expedia and made a bad Yelp review, the desk clerk who apparently is the son of the owner was very very rude, please review surveillance video has he told me it is all on video, it all stemmed from an additional 20 charge for a pet, I thought online it showed 10 and he wouldn't give me the time to show him what it showed on the website and it just got worse from there, at one point after I tried to cancel the room I was told it non refundable but when I told him I would be complaining he said he'd let me stay if I didn't make a complaint, I let him know I would be happy to leave with a credit to my account which he said he didn't charge to my card, which it would have to come from 3rd party educated then I needed a room, probably the worst part was at the end where I found out the room was on the 2 floor, admittedly I didn't think to specify I needed a ground to floor when reserving the room, I let him know i was disabled and offered to show him my handicap placard he told me it would be extra for a bottom floor!! Then he proceeded to tell me again several times he would do me this favor, in the end I told forget about it I didn't want any favors from him and proceeded to carry all my things up the stairs which I can barely go up and down without anything hindering me let alone several bags and a BIG suitcase, I actually wonder if this is an ADA violation!! To say the experience was horrible doesn't actually come close to how bad it was !!

We were unable to stay the night due to an infestation of crickets, and ants in the bathtub. The overall cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. The manager as much as admitted that he only has one cleaning lady for the entire complex, and he became rude and argumentative with us when we said we would not stay. He said he could not refund our money because we had booked through Expedia. I will never use this hotel, or book through Expedia again.

Functional, but not nice
It's just...okay. Stayed their for the Hotter N Hell. It's functional. They're dealing with cricket swarming, which is fine but their housecleaning staff isn't doing a great job cleaning up the dead crickets.

It is what it is, not my favorite hotel…
The pictures on the app did not match my room when I entered my room it was 95° and took almost 3 hours to cool down. We are in Texas but there was a lot of insects in my room…icky stains and I believe when I book through Hotels.com they give me the worst room, always always always, but I had no choice this time…

It smelled like cigarettes all night. There was dirt and hair underneath the sheets. One of the beds had a corn dog stick at the foot of the bed under the sheets. There was a dead roach on the floor in between the beds. The floor was sticky and it was extremely dirty underneath the beds. There was stains on the tub and toilet seat. The room itself was horrendous. I highly do not recommend unless you’re homeless or literally have nowhere else to go. Very displeased by the fact that the extra lock on the door was broken. My cat smells like cigarettes due to the stench in that room.

This was supposed to be a decent place with breakfast. The reality was different. Outside it looks all fine, but inside it is pretty bad. The rooms are old, damage everywhere. The bedding was dirty. Sheets had ton of stain, likely they were not even washed. Pillowcases were also very dirty. Even though we got new sheets, we had to not use the pillows. The breakfast was poor. Orange juice tasted like it was rancid. The breakfast only included some sweets, cereals, coffee, and bread. There was nothing there to give to 3-year old child.

It was my son’s wedding and there weren’t many options. The price was half of the hampton so it was easy on my wallet. My room smelled funky, but the rest of the rooms were ok.

Super convenient to the highway. Rooms are very nice and modern in this well-kept traditional motor lodge. Staff is very hospitable and professional. And it’s not expensive. Pet friendly with walkable surrounding areas.

The room was so very clean and neat as were the bath towels. Quiet location and not any irritating outside noises. Staff were super nice and even opened up a little after the lobby hours closed to let us get paper goods for a birthday cake we had brought. I have stayed there now several times and had a good experience with each stay.
