"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We usually gravitate toward chains, because they seem to be consistent & reliable (except for some lousy Spark by Hiltons). This one is independently owned, and the people working there actually seem to take pride in their work and customer service. Breakfast was way above average for an included buffet. Room was spotless and big. We would definitely recommend! Another good thing was that the dog fee was $25, which is reasonable. ALL the Hiltons charge $75 for a dog (including the lousy Spark by Hilton, where our dog was the cleanest thing in the place)."
