Red House close to @Accademia Bridge

The access to the apartment is by a luxurious independent staircase leading to the vestibule, illuminated by a typical mullioned window.

From here you enter a large room-study-library with comfortable sofas and satellite TV.

Continuing, we find a bright dining room embellished by the Doge (the iconic table of the great architect Carlo Scarpa) and open onto a well-equipped kitchen.

The corridor leads to two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, one with a shower. Also from the corridor leads to the walk-in closet in front of the 2 double bedrooms with very high ceilings and to the staircase that goes up to the attic where there are 2 single beds; it is lit from above by a large electric skylight.

Red House is suitable for families and groups of friends.

The property was in a great area. Easy to get around. The stay was fine except for the noise factor inside the apt. Anytime someone opened a door, walked through the property or went into the kitchen, everyone could hear it. Especially at night. The bathrooms are a little odd with the sloping ceilings. Makes it a challenge for taller people.

Perfect Visit to the Red House

We loved our stay at the Red House. it was clean and neat and spacious! We were within walking distance to every attraction we wanted to see and also close to good bars, restaurants and shops. The AC was lovely to come back to after being out in the heat all day and we enjoyed playing cards around the kitchen table in the evenings. Bonus with the washer and large drying rack. Loved it and would highly recommend this property. I was initially a little annoyed by having to schedule our meet and greet 24 hours in advance but after seeing how Venice is laid out and not knowing the city and how it works, I completely understand the process now! Anita who met with us was very sweet and helpful and the property managers were always prompt to respond to our texts and were helpful in setting up water taxis to the property from the train station and to the the airport on our departure day. Everything was amazing!

Perfect Venice Home

Great location. Great property. An oasis for your familly near Accadamia bridge. We could not ask for better. The local person met us very late due to our flight delays and the check in process was perfect . The host helped arrange everything we asked. Very top recommendation from my Canadian family!

Beautiful Home in Venice!

Our Venice Haven

Our time in Venice was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed our stay the Red House. We enjoyed being near enough to walk to almost everything but on a quiet canal. The house was beautiful, clean and plenty big enough for our family of 6. We highly recommend staying here.

This was the best VRBO stay we have had! The apartment was gorgeous - the pictures do not do it justice - it was spotlessly clean, and the communication with the staff exceptional. They helped us in every way possible, including arranging water taxi's from the airport which was a high point for our teen sons. . The small canal in which this apartment was located was charming yet very quiet. There were wonderful restaurants within a few steps, as well as a grocery store. The area itself was a short walk to many of the attractions in Venice. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in Venice!

We had a wonderful two nights in Venice! The apartment is close to everything, including gelato, restaurants, and activities. Murano glass just around the corner and of course the gondolas and canals. Very clean, nice bathrooms, great space for 5 adults. There are even some cards and puzzles and spaces to relax. Cannot say enough great things about it! Venice is lovely! Thank you

Good property and location, but terrible management

The reason for this poor review is the horrific way this property is managed and the lack of regard the property managers had for us.Our saga began when we got back to the apartment and couldn’t unlock the building front door. We reported this issue to property management, but they didn't believe us (despite us sending videos demonstrating the door wouldn’t unlock), so I had to skip dinner and pay 25 euros to meet someone at the apartment to confirm the door was broken. When I asked what would happen if we couldn’t get into the apartment, we were assured the company had numerous other properties they could rebook us to if needed.The person helping us got an emergency locksmith, but I had to skip a show to meet them. Unfortunately, he had to break the lock, leaving the front door unlockable. The lock to the front door of the apartment was also broken, which meant the entire building/apartment did not have any secure doors. We were then told to stay in the apartment overnight with no working locks and await a replacement lock the next day, meaning we could not leave the apartment until that happened.While I understand unexpected things happen, when they do, I believe it is the responsibility of the host to respond appropriately. When we asked to be relocated to another property or placed in a hotel, they suddenly told us there was nothing they could do and our only option was to stay at the unsafe property. Hopefully this helps convey the risk in booking with this group.

Location/Home beautiful but you’re on your own…

My family of five was very comfortable in this vrbo. The location was perfect and the home was beautiful. Very tidy and clean. That being said- the home was not well stocked. There were no paper towels or napkins and only one dish towel. When I requested a second dish towel, they said no. There was a significant leak in the kitchen and we had to continually clean it as they couldn’t get maintenance out for 2 days after we checked out. We used our towels for showering to clean it up and no other towels were provided. They didn’t thank us for helping or even apologize for the leak. It’s worth noting that my family has 3 properties in Florida so we were surprised at some of the accommodations and lack of help with supplies and communication. Overall we would recommend the property to others, but encourage them to bring their own coffee, paper towels and basic essentials.

Perfect for families!

This apartment was perfect for my family of 6. The clean kitchen, dining area and living room were very spacious. The two bathrooms were fine, and the washing machine (no dryer!) was very helpful. Highly recommend.
