It’s on the second floor of an interesting 16th Century building and it has recently been extensively modernised. It can be reached by a shared entrance staircase from a little calle (small street) and it is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard. The house is well-equipped for staying in at any time of the year - being fully air-condioned and with gas heating. The fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, the large living room with very comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player and ipod dock, the kingsize bed and wide wardrobe in the master bedroom, the second bedroom with 2 twins and two extra hidden beds underneath, the bathrooom with jacuzzi shower. All of this will all ensure that your stay will be memorable! The property is very quite, far from the crowd, a very sophisticated way to live Venice. An exceptional light and the Venetian antique structure of the house are the spell of this location; at the same time the guest can find modern comforts as internet connection, air conditioning, big flat screen TV, new kitchen appliances. Très bien équipé, il ne manquait rien. Un vrai havre de paix familial, un salon cocooning que nous avons apprecié lors de nos soirées familiales.Contrairement aux précédents commentaires notés, la literie etait trés confortable ! Et apprécié de tous ! Nous avons très bien dormi.La buanderie un plus ! Une cuisine tres fonctionnelle. Appartement tout simplement incroyable !Le supermarché juste en bas, un réel atout.Et toutes les boutiques à proximités, un pur bonheur.A 10 min de la place Saint Marc.Et n'oublions pas Eva, qui est exceptionnel pour sa disponibilité et ses conseils. Chaque réponses de sa part etaient détaillées. L'aide pour se rendre au logement de l'aeroport, pour s'inscrire pour le feu d'artifice de la fêtes du redempteur, l'enregistrement pour la taxe de séjours. Toutes ces demarches qui me paraissaient compliquées et flou, ont été un jeu d'enfant, grace à l'aide de Eva. J'en suis tres reconnaisante, car ça nous a permis d'arriver à Venise en toute sérénité. Surtout que c'etait le premier voyage à l'etranger de ma vie...Avant notre sejour, je me questionnais car tout était trop parfait pour être vrai !Mais c'est bien le cas, nous sommes tombés sur quelque chose d'exceptionnel !Merci pour TOUT. Bright and spacious (bedrooms, kitchen, family room and bathroom are all big!) with everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is on a nice, quiet street but close to everything. Check in was easy; the host's son was waiting for us when we got off the water bus and led us to the apartment, and helped get our heavy luggage up the stairs. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable, there were extra pillows and blankets. Venice is known for getting easily lost in, our navigation didn't work great in getting us back to the apartment, but we started using the hotel at the end of the street as our destination and found it easily every time after that. I would definitely stay here again, not one complaint. ##### Webb K.
