In the historical center, near Rialto and other major attractions, is within easy walking distance from the railway station from the bus, or ferry through at Riva de Blasio, located a short walk from the apartment. The rooms, recently restored, are large (21mq) and are bright with two large windows overlooking a typical street. It can accommodate two or three people in comfort and is equipped with a double bed with the possibility of adding a third bed.A corner with a sofa, also will welcome you for your moments of relaxation. This apartment was not very comfortable, though, with sagging mattresses and limited heat. Also seemed high priced, but maybe that’s just Venice market. Owner was very communicative. ##### Meg H. The property is located fairly centrally in a quiet part of Venice. It is about a 10-minute walk from the train station with some bridges and stairs involved so plan for that if you are bringing a lot of luggage. It is nice that he has both a washer and dryer for laundry. ##### Isaac J. Gian Maria was very responsive to questions and had the room early when we arrived earlier than originally planned. Away from most of the crowds - the street was a little loud but by 11 pm (on a Saturday) had quieted down. Did not see a grill or hot tub but didn’t have a need for those in a cool November. Would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Venice! ##### Melanie K. The location was great and a short walk from the train station. Gian Maria was an exceptional host. He was very communicative with us prior to and during our stay. We had a wonderful stay at Ruga Bella. It’s located on a quiet street but located close to cafes and restaurants. It is a very spacious apartment and the beds were so comfortable. The host was so accommodating and was quick to respond to messages.
