It was clean and neat and the AC was quiet good considering that we were there during the heat wave. Comfortable couches and a nice table. Also a terrace which we would have really enjoyed but it was us too hot. The “adult” bedroom had a very comfortable mattress, but the two singles in the “kids” room were pretty hard on an adult body. Also the water temperature fluctuated a lot for showers. Overall though, it was a very good place to stay in Venice. ##### Ruth K. The Castello neighborhood was the perfect location for us as it is slightly quieter than other areas. It is a 10 minute walk from the quiet and beautiful park and green space near Monumento a Giuseppi Girabaldi. Via Giuseppe Garibaldi has a grocery store, a wonderful bakery, and some shops. It’s still only a 15 minute walk to the bustle of St Mark’s Square. As we entered, our 11 and 13 year olds asked why we didn’t live in such a cool house all the time. It has a fascinating transparent staircase made of robust glass. The kitchen was equipped for making breakfast and more. The third floor loft room and pull out couch provided a privacy option so our two kids did not need to room together. The roof deck gave a view of surrounding hodge podge of roofs that was beautiful. The hosts were available to help us check in and even to recommend a good pharmacy for our sick kid. Stay here! ##### Elizabeth J.
