Fantastic family cabin
A perfect cabin for a family stay. Quiet part of the lake was great for kayaking and swimming, the hot tub clear and easy to use and the cabin itself clean and perfectly appointed. We would highly recommend it!

Relaxing fun getaway
First of all, we had great communication with the owners, which made it smooth and easy for all of our needs. Great place to spend time with family! Loved it! Would recommend this place 100% Peaceful and beautiful!! Hot tub, firepit, cozy living room, kayaks, which we used a lot! My granddaughter didnt even want to leave to go touring, she loved it so much!

Beautiful spot, needs cleaning!
The cottage was a beautiful stay however the communication with the host was unclear. When we arrived for our weekend stay communication was great with the host. However after we got there we noticed a few issues: hot tub was not clean by any means, fridge was left dirty inside and outside, numerous cobwebs, ad states no animals however you could smell dog on the couch, bed were extremely firm and there is no ladder to get in and out of the water off the dock. Upon check out time the host just requested we take the garbage out so we did exactly what he said but i guess he wasnt 100% fully clear on his expectations. Just a note that this host expects you to clean the cottage better then what you were given sweeping all floors, clean out the fridge (even what past guests left), and take out the recycling (which we just took out the garbage as requested) not trying to nit pick but the communication definitely could of been more clear. We got charged a service fee but what i would like to know is what does that service fee actually cover if we are to be the house cleaners prior to leaving the stay?

Cottage was lovely and was as described. Only thing we suggest is the owner might want to add a ladder on the floating dock to get in and out more easier.

Nice cottage
This property would be good for a cottage vacation. We were there in April and the location, 5km down a dirt road wasn't great for day tripping. The cottage lay out was good, and my kids loved the hot tub. It needed a good deep cleaning, the outside of the fridge was dirty, and there was dust and pet hair all over the place. It's right beside other cottages with less privacy than we were expecting.

Such a relaxing spot on a beautiful lake. It's early spring, middle of the week, so it was very tranquil. Owners were very nice. Cabin was great.

Getaway weekend
Three friends having a quiet getaway weekend. We used everything. The kayaks, firepit, BBQ and hot tub. Had a lovely relaxing stay.

We were satisfied with the accommodations.
The biggest drawback was the tap water. It has such a strong smell of Sulphur. The tap water was not drinkable, but the property manager had plenty of bottled water for the cooler on hand. Bottom line we enjoyed our stay.

As we mention in our welcoming details we do suggest not drinking the tap water as we are on well water at the lake. This trip was everything we imagined and more. Property is beautiful, cabin is perfect for a small or bigger group. We visited two gorgeoous local waterfalls, kayaked and loved the Hot tub!! Communication was easy, detailed, and we knew if we had any questions to reach out. Nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away but we brought coolers and stoppped on the way down. I highly recommend you book this property, we're already planning our return!

Lake is grear
The lake was great. Kayaks were a great bonus. Hottub was great. I would've loved it if it had of been cleaner, it could use a vacuum in between guests and the bathroom couldve been cleaner. The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating

Stunning property
Stayed with my mom and two adult children. Check in and out was super! Property owner was engaging and available if needed. Beautiful lake front property - so relaxing! Will definitely return!!! Everything you need is there for you to enjoy a wonderful family vacation!

Peaceful getaway!
We had a wonderful two nights at the cottage -- sharing meals, swimming, and relaxing in the hot tub. It is a lovely, quiet spot on the lake for a small family get-together. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well equipped (my mother said a larger pasta pot would be great!). I would definitely go back. Thank you for a great experience.

We had the best stay!
My family and I just got home after a wonderful stay at David & Leah’s cottage. It has everything you could possibly want for a week on the lake- kayaks, fire pit, hot tub and a dock to swim from. The lake water is clear and warm and even my 2 year wanted to go swimming! We love the Falls Lake area and how quiet and secluded it is but only a short 25 minute drive in to town if you need a break from the woods. But once you’re there, trust me, you won’t want to leave!

David and Leah were the best hosts. The cottage is fantastic with enough rooms and space to really enjoy yourself and relax. It is in the perfect spot with the lake in front of you, kayaks, fire pit and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely book again.
