"Cozy cabin with a fantastic view from the brow. Well equipped. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the views. Had a great meal in Mentone at Elevation Bistro - definitely recommend. "

"We met the host, Mr. Bolling, the afternoon of our check in. He was working on his property next door as we were walking up the road so we introduced ourselves as his current renters. He made sure to communicate that if we needed anything just reach out to him. My wife and I have traveled to numerous places over the years so we always over prepare not knowing what you are going to get until you get there. Call me overly cautious but I'm not a big fan of using food items that are left by others or even the host that other people have used. We stopped at the Ingles grocery store at the bottom of the mountain in Trenton for all of our supplies. I also made sure to take a few time stamped photos of things that were damaged or not cleaned the day of our arrival. It is sad when an owner leaves very detailed instructions but yet renters do not follow those simple details. The property is very easy to find and is only about 7 minutes from Cloudland State Park if hiking is your thing."

"A one of kind, wonderful hotel. My husband and I never get away but it was nice to stay the night with all of the onsite amenities and excellent bar staff at the Sky Terrace restaurant. The environment is extremely homey but elevated with children and dogs allowed but they didn’t hinder our relaxing at all. Would love to come again soon!"

"The cottage was perfection. The hosts bent over backwards to make sure I had the relaxing sunset hot tub soak that I had envisioned. An awe inspiring view to enjoy from many different seats. The kitchen is well appointed. Nearby waterfalls and trails are so enjoyable. ELEVATION is the best farm to table I have ever eaten at. Kevin and Courtney provided over the top service with joy. I will be back to enjoy this again!"

"We enjoyed our stay a lot. The cottage was very clean and looked just as the pictures shown. The views were spectacular! I enjoyed the story I googled about the cabin and there were pictures in the bathroom showing what the cottage looked like when it was built in the early 1900’s and what it is today after several add on’s. We enjoyed the little town and found everyone extremely friendly. We had an issue getting the heat on but as soon as we contacted the owner, the issue was immediately solved. You will love this lovely cottage!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Scottsboro. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious (including some of the best biscuits I've had in a very long time), and the location is set away from the main road and thus quite peaceful. We would come back here in a heartbeat."
