"Nice little apartment. The bathroom was mouldy, the toilet leaked and the walls were paper thin. But, it was a stones throw to the beach and it was a nice little quiet area. Although, requiring a car to get to the city centre or any supermarkets."

Very accommodating
"Great location in a beautiful old building. Had to leave early before breakfast so can’t comment on it."

"The hotel is very nice but the surrounding area was just dirty, run down and it didn’t help that the red light district was a few meters down the road. "
"We chose the Villa Romeo due to its location to the main train station, it's just across the street. We were only staying one night before flying from Catania to Rome. The hotel is old but well maintained. We enjoyed our brief stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical but could be eaten in the beautiful courtyard which is filled with plants, very pretty. Overall a fine visit. "
"Beautiful, traditional hotel with outstanding sea views! The hotel staff were really friendly and rooms spacious! A few suggestions to improve guests stay:
. Room air con was not easy to operate
. No Ironing facilities - at all? Zero, not even an ironing room? - very strange for a hotel hosting conventions
. Pool opening hours could be expanded (even just for adults) 10-6pm is a little short.

"A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities.
Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly.
We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board.
A few suggestions for improvements would be that houskeeing were a bit random about changing towels/emptying bins etc. One day our shower mat disappeared and was not replaced until the next day Our minibar was totally empty until 2 days before we were leaving (not that we used it anyway) and there was no way to spread towels out to dry.
The variety on the buffet for dinner was great but hot food was not really any more than warm. If there was a way to improve this and maybe heat the pkates that would help. The black rice and sushimi we had one night as part of the buffet were particularly good.
Pizza restaurant was good and we also tried the a la carte restaurant which was lovely.
Great parking tip for Catania from the front desk. Thank you.
