My familys stay at the tree house was amazing. The location is beautiful, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the river was so perfect. We will visit again!
Great property with amazing amenities. Stayed mostly outside grilling and using the fire pit in the evenings. Downstairs outdoor area is great for enjoying the beautiful views.
We stayed for two days with two adults and two teenagers to relax before the holidays. It was exactly what we needed and what was pictured in the listing. The property had great outdoor seating areas, view of the river, and the house was a great size for four people. It's also close to some of our favorite state parks for hiking. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!
The property is beautiful. The house was built and decorated tastefully. It is the Perfect place to just unwind and relax. We had a great time fishing and swimming during the day and cooking and star gazing at night. Thank you for letting us enjoy your little piece of heaven!
We had a family wedding in the area and we rented the cabin to stay. Other family members rented another cabin on property so we could be close to eachother. It worked out great! Very clean and relaxing time. It was very nice to be able to spend time together as a family and still have space to just sit and drink coffee and enjoy the outside.
My husband and 2 sons loved the river, fishing and campnfires. They had an awesome time. Only issue was the refrigerator. It needed to be fixed as we had to store everything in the freezer bc it wasnt cold and had to throw away stuff that went bad. Other then that it was great.
QUINTESSENTIAL! Absolutely loved the property and the calmness it brought upon this busy family. Spotty internet connection allowed us to disconnect from the world and spend quality time with one another to build stronger bonds. The property is immaculate and well kept. Nathan (property manager) is on top of everything we needed or had questions on.
Great property and highly recommend! Our family of 6 (two adults and four teenagers) stayed at the treehouse during spring break 2024. We wanted a getaway in the Hillcountry off a river, and this property didn’t disappoint.
Our favorite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the river and watching the sunset come up over the hills. We also enjoyed making a campfire in the fire pit and sitting around making s’mores telling stories and watching the starry sky. The remote location means no light polution!
The weather was great in mid Feb (70-80 degrees), and despite it being on the cooler side, all our kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the crystal clear water and fishing in the Nueces.
The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed minus a cutting board and a tea kettle which we let the property owners know about. We also brought our own large cooking pan which came in handy. If you plan on cooking, heads up that the range is electric, older, and very fickle. It takes a long time just to boil water. Not a big deal.
The property manager was very friendly and checked on us every day. The nearest grocery store is in Camp Wood, which is about a 20 minute drive north. They have a family Dollar that has just about everything you need.
Highly recommend this property and we’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
This was an exceptional experience for our group with a mix of toddlers and adults. The views were amazing, and the cabin was so clean! Tina and Nathan were very accomodating and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend this for families and anyone wanting a luxury cabin exeprience.
This our third time staying here and we always have a great time with the family. The river is perfect! We had a minor issue with the AC but it was quickly resolved by the owner and property manager.
