"The only thing that was negative was the fact that online the property was described as being located a few meters away from the beach. In the description of the property it says ( only at the end the last sentence) : 4 km away from the beach. The adress ( a street 4 kilometers long) is misleading."

"There were 10 of us. Dining area was large and accommodating. Lounge area only had enough seating for 7. Not enough lounges and cushions in the garden area. Indoor pool was the most used area, great for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful."

"Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. "The staff members were very friendly and accommodating for my two cats and it wasn’t expensive to pay for them (24 euros for two cats). The hotel room was clean and minimalistic but had a high attention to detail. We were a bit worried about bed bugs from the news and social media so when we checked the bed we were comforted to see that the hotel took precautions for guests by triple layering the mattress with mattress covers. All in all a stress free stay"

"Staff were very helpful and stored our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out on the morning when we were due to catch the 4pm ferry. Pre - ordered a taxi for us which arrived punctually. Excellent location for shops, market, restaurants and bars. Will definitely book again."

Staff was helpful and friendly, one would definitely want to come back to stay here. They made the hotel an essential part of our staycation."
