Book ahead with a tour company, you cannot take a self tour to either upper or lower canyon. Both are sooo worth it!

Good picture taking, but was rushed through.  Lots of people.  Was basically, go to this spot, take a picture, next spot, picture, ok, don - leave now.  Hard to enjoy the views and our guide didn't give any historical background or anything.
