The staff were absolutely amazing! I had to make a change to the reservation and Expedia made an error in the change that resulted in Expedia canceling the reservation - even though my account showed I still had the reservation but for the wrong dates. The manager was able to restore my reservation and give me two rooms! I was there for my daughter’s graduation and they saved the day. I am so impressed by the level of attention and care they showed me.

Excellent staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is unique. Very interesting and impressive space. The only negative thing I would say is that I have been visiting this hotel for almost two years because my son attends college nearby and the elevators have been a problem since my first stay. During my recent stay the one working elevator was out of service and we had to walk five flights of stairs to our room. Otherwise, the hotel is fantastic and I plan to continue visiting.

Upon check in, the staff was rude. I was there for 2 nights. I alerted the front desk that I would be out of my room at 10:30, so that house keeping could come in. I was gone most of the day. After multiple calls to the front desk and a trip down there, my room finally was cleaned at 5:30. And no one was friendly about that.

I did look up your reservation and the day you did request housekeeping we were busy so we are sorry that we couldn't service your room at the exact time you required us to. I did see that there were notes made on the housekeeping board showing that you were on the list. We hope you have a better day!

So much potential but so little effort. Rooms are dirty. Elevator seems like a jury-rigged nightmare.

Room: The bathroom floor was filthy, the easy chair in the was soiled, the caulking around the tub was moldy and mildewed and clearly in need of replacement, and the air was musty. Property: one elevator was out of order, parking coasts $21 a night, which is absurd, and as soon as you walk in via the main entrance you are immediately overpowered by an air freshener odor that burns your nostrils, and the free cookies they offer are TERRIBLE.

The place was ok, but the first room we were assigned had a clogged toilet, the elevators went out of service and we had to walk eight flights to get to our room. They tried to charge us for breakfast which was included. I had to go to the front desk and explain to them before the fee was waived

The staff at the hotel is excellent. I had a problem with the lock in my room and seeing how exhausted I was from driving and my events, they gave me another room and a breakfast voucher. They’ve been extremely courteous and attentive to my needs, and I appreciate their open and straightforward communication and help.

Super quiet, reasonable rate, delicious warm cookies upon arrival. Like the old heritage hotel feel and charm. Staff were very friendly. Beds quiet comfortable and clean. Hygienic clean floors and restful colours. Spacious room. However, the breakfast was dismal for hot food, coffee was not to my liking. For $18 buffet flat fee, was not worth it. Dinner on Sunday they were out of most things on the menu, the bar tender was quite jovial and friendly who could see we were disappointed in both availability and quality of food. Room temperature by the time it arrived including the chicken on top of the pasta, we wondered why it took so long when it was undercooked. Lights around the bed didn't work the second of two nights no matter what we did with the switches and the harsh white LED light of the desk lamp was not suitable to light the whole room. Television was great but the channel guide didn't work. Liked the spacious bathroom and distance from sleeping area, and the shower head was powerful, however there was a build up of hair in the tub and sink traps which made for the water to sit before draining - not great when showering to be ankle deep in water draining. Sad to see such minor issues overshadow our visit this time in comparison to a previous visit pre-covid. Parking was very convenient and safe and the location is very central to our trip's purpose of visiting museums and galleries around University Circle.

The Tudor is a stunning property with a rich history. The hotel is immaculately clean and smells lovely. The staff are warm and welcoming. The double queen suite is very spacious. The thermostat in the room did not seem to work. We turned it down to 64 and the room remained sweltering. The vending machines do not take cards and the sink faucets are short so it was difficult to obtain or fill up water bottles. Paying $21 daily for parking and $15 per person for breakfast are unwelcomed charges. Even so, I'll stay here again when we return next month.

I appreciated the combination of an historic building and modern facilities. It was comfortable and quiet. The room was large and the decor was classy, if somewhat sparse [and a bit dark.] Close to the Cleveland Clinic, Little Italy, and museums.
