I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. "

"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. "We sre older adults. Traveling long days from S to N. We stop in the middle. A necessary rest. Fire alarm at 11pm wakes us. Rings for at least 5 minuted. Phone doest work to see if its a real fire. Whole hall concerned, of course. We hear all clear. Alarm was a mistake. Not easy at this point to get back to sleep. And then 5 am same thing. It was not a helpful rest for us. Could never recomend. Even tho the beds were lovely. Room clean. Shower great althi small. Breakfast very nice. The main important piece for us is a good restful rejuvenating sleep. Disappointing and disturbing night. "
