Huge 2 bedroom at North Beach with pool!

  • This first floor two bedroom one and a half-bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Living room features 65” smart tv with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows.

    Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park.

    Enjoy a short walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill.

    Free off-street parking for 2 vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests.

    There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.

    Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

This property was exactly as advertised. Comfortable furnishings- the beds were awesome, location is central and an easy walk to the beach, the unit was clean, and the property management company makes you feel like a VIP. We were a party of two couples and all four of us said the same thing; "what a great stay!".

Lovely property and space! Very easy to get around, nice pool and very spacious! We enjoyed our stay with this property! Beds were very comfortable abd we had what we needed throughout the stay!

This rental was super cool! You could feel the history of the place. Beautifully restored. Heating swimming pool was lovely!Found a stain on the mattress pad, cleaners came next morning to fix this. However the pad was no replaced, but rather just replaced the fitted sheet. I thought it odd to be sleeping just on a sheet (however the bed was UBER comfy)

Great overall experience. Quiet, clean and spacious. Not that it was a problem but I wish I had gotten there before dark. It would have made finding the drive easier for me.

That porch with rocking chairs was amazing! Sat there for hours and drank coffee, read, and at night just listened to the ocean waves. Couldn’t see the ocean from porch, but it’s so quiet there you could hear them. The porch faces a park and the lights go on 9p-11p which was nice. Played 9 holes disc golf. Easy walk to beach and could drive over for free parking at 8p for sunset pics. Beautiful sky with lighthouse behind. Stayed in unit 1- very spacious! Comfy beds and appreciated the ice & filtered water in fridge and the mrs Myers cleaning products. My only annoyance had nothing to do with property owners but the family with little kids who went swimming at 7am sat and sun morning- and screaming like a waterpark. Old windows so could hear every splash. Overall felt safe and comfy there. Will def be back!! Sugar shack for ice cream and check out sea wolf oysters and 6 four roses house bourbon. Need to try the wagu hotdog next time. Really enjoyed the north end of island and this property!

The Barracks is a very cool place to stay! The apartment was beautiful and spacious, beds were comfortable, bedding was luxurious, theAC worked perfectly, and having that pool (though it's small) was a godsend in 100 heat index all week. The bedroom blackout curtains were such a great touch for someone who has insomnia, too. There were a few very small details that could use improvement - the dish soap was empty, one of the toilet paper holders kept coming apart, and the kitchen tap leaked - but overall it was a lovely accommodation. The walk to the beach was a little hairy at times due to traffic, but it was short, so not a huge deal. I do regret getting a golf cart - parking was very costly, you can't drive it on the main roads, and we barely used it. But that's just a lesson learned. The host was very responsive and helpful, too. The Barracks definitely ended up being a comfortable and beautiful place to stay for our time on Tybee!

This may be our most favorite place we've ever stayed on vacation. The place was huge! Super clean and the hosts were most responsive.The location near the park is awesome. Coffee on the massive front porch every morning was a great way to start the day. Away from traffic, quiet and easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Oh.. and we got a show in the park from the pair of Osprey which have nested at the top of one of the light poles in the park.I would recommend to rent bikes. Getting around by car was not as hard as some said on Tybee Island. We found the bikes very convenient, especially where the Barracks are located.Definitely will stay at the Barracks again if we come back to Tybee. So glad we found this placeThank you for making our stay amazing!

Wonderful Stay!

Our time at the Barracks was enjoyable! The location was an easy walk to a few restaurants, the lighthouse and North Beach. The rockers on the porch offered a peaceful place to read in the evening or early morning, and the unit was large with two comfortable sitting areas. The heated pool was perfect way to end the day after biking the island, or even riding on the beach at low tide. The property was restored beautifully.

Relaxing stay

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay at the Barracks. The host was very attentive and the condo was well stocked. There was a rowdy crew staying in some of the other rooms as it was St. Patrick's day parade weekend. We still had a great time.

Wonderful!

Large, beautiful first-floor condo in the Barracks with great view of local park from rockers on the front porch. Location is an easy walk to the beach and to the lighthouse. Be sure to rent a golf cart for getting around! We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The Barracks, revitalized.

Clean, large, and spacious unit for my family of 3. Easy to access and communicate with the property management group. Walking distance to beaches and has heated pool. Highly recommended and will book again if on Tybee.

Beautiful place, not ideal for working remote

Loved the condo/apartment and location. Next to park and 5 minutes from beach. Place has pretty much everything you need. Only downside was internet speed, we had to leave our stay early because Zoom calls kept dropping and VPN access was spotty. Apparently this was due to island wide internet issues, but just know you will not get a refund if you leave early.

Lovely setting

We had such a wonderful stay, as did our family that joined with other units. Sitting among the oak trees, overlooking the park, gave us such a respite. Interior spaces were spacious. Decorated very tastefully. We will definitely rent again.
