Cool & relaxing Memory Foam Mattress King Bed! Full Kitchen, Spacious Bathroom & fabulous patio w/swings to unwind & meet other vacationers. Outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach + access to streaming your Netflix & Hulu accounts! ONE FREE PARKING PASS good for your stay which allows parking Island-wide in public spaces which is worth $48 per 8 AM to 8 PM per day! This is only good during your stay and must be returned to the room prior to check out. If Pass is accidentally taken home or not returned will be billed ($500) to the guest, and a police report will be filed, with no exceptions- please be considerate and thoughtful to the next guests! These passes are not disposable and very hard to come by. Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island. All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals. \*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in. Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. The room was exactly as pictured, the bed was very comfortable and people passing by kept commenting on how cute the building is. The beach is about 3/4 of a block away and there are several restaurants close. There was a problem with the air conditioning, but it was taken care of before we even arrived (a portable unit was put in our room until they could get parts) and Jenny called to let us know what was going on. The only negative is the lack of parking. You are provided with a parking pass and if you tend to just park your car and not move it much, you will be fine. We were using our room as a base to go do other things and parking was a problem every time we came back. We drove around for anywhere from 5 minutes to a half hour looking for parking. So, if parking will not be an issue for you, I would definitely recommend this property. If you do plan on driving to do other things a lot, then I would probably look for someplace with private parking. ##### Wendy E. Our room was so so cute, updated, clean, the bed was comfy, and the location was excellent! We loved the common area to sit in the evening, and the porch was perfect for our morning coffee or to wait out an afternoon thunderstorm. The walk to the beach took about 2 minutes and there is an access point right at the end of the road which made it so easy to go back and forth. It was also just a few minutes to walk to the shops and restaurants on Tybreesia St. Jenny was a great, responsive host and made the whole experience super simple. The parking pass was invaluable and made it easy to find parking anywhere we went on the island. Parking for the Inn is on the street, but we never had any trouble finding a spot out front. We would definitely recommend 17th Street Inn to anyone, and will definitely stay again if we’re in town. Thanks for a great stay! ##### Danielle P. The bed was soooo comfortable. Bathroom was nice with a great shower. Kitchen had everything we needed when we just wanted to stay in and fix a meal for ourselves. The outdoor area shared by the guests is incredibly cute and cozy with a bar and grill, and plenty of seating. People walking down the street would stop and take a peak. We had a very nice front porch which we used quite a bit to relax. Jenny was very responsive for ckeck-in and ckeck-out or whenever we had a question during our stay. The location is perfect! 100 yards to the beach, 2 blocks from Tybrisia street with its shops, restaraunts and bars, and the pier. Easy walking to everything you need. We even walked to the west side of the island to catch the sunset, the walked around the end of island and back to our place every evening. We have to stay here again! Loved it! ##### Chris R. Just a half block from the beach and restaurants and shops but not too busy!!! So happy we choose this over a hotel!!!! My only complaint is the door lock was very hard to operate and we had to have another guest help because it was jammed.
