« room 'rustic' style. clean. single room w one queen bed was on the small side, adequate for overnight stay for two. very economical esp. compared with local options. shower hot/cold adjustment slower than normal. heat in bathroom fine. unit in main room kept turning on and off and quite loud. we would stay again. would be interested to see how restaurant turns out. only snacks available now. »

« Our room wasn’t ready at the time of checkout (the receptionist told us the room was being cleaned), which was pretty upsetting after already driven two hours. I expected a clean room, but still found things like hair and dead peeled skin on the bed and floor. The people in the rooms next to us and below us were also noisy »

« We enjoyed the location very much. Walking distance from everything in Northampton. And the Ellery has a lot of charm. We also enjoyed the common room for breakfast and coffee. Great stay !
