Renting a car is a great option if you plan to explore cenotes, nearby beaches, archaeological sites or destinations like Akumal, Coba, or Playa del Carmen. Several car rental companies operate in downtown Tulum and at Tulum International Airport (TQO) and Cancún International Airport (CUN).

Public Transportation
The ADO bus terminal in downtown Tulum connects the town with major destinations such as Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Bacalar and Mérida. It’s about a short drive or taxi ride from Aldea Zama.
