Truly exceptional

Well!,,,, what can I say???,,,, probably the best bed and breakfast establishment you could ever wish to stay at. The family who run the guest house are absolutely wonderful. The room was really lovely, clean,homely and welcoming with so many comfort touches, such as a selection of quality toiletries, a cut above the usual. Open a drawer to the dresser and you’ll find a pack with ( proper), scissors, pens,pencils and the sorts of things you just don’t have when your away and need them!. The breakfast was truly exceptional, cooked by the gentleman who also doubles up as what can only be described as as exceptional artist, with many, many examples of his work throughout the property, and a truly lovely and humble gentleman to talk to. To sum up, this is the sort of guest house you want to return to again and again and I can’t wait for opportunity to enjoy The Elerkey once more

Very friendly staff . Breakfast 1st class , very clean ,Anne the owner emailed asking if we had any diet requirements .booked a meal for us in the local pub excellent meal .My husband and l would recommend this Bread Breakfast

Perfect base for the Roseland peninsula

A warm welcome and lovely, friendly service. The room was not large, but adequate for our needs, and this is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Roseland peninsula.

Great stay

We have been holidaying in Cornwall for years and wished we found this bed and breakfast years ago. Anne, Harvey and her Daughter Maria could not have done more for us to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was just lovely with all the special touches. The location is great if you need a quiet relaxing few days away and the grounds are perfect to sit in and enjoy the amazing views. Room with en suite shower was just right with a great comfy bed. Would def recommend and we will be back later in the year. Thanks Anne!!

Lovely Guest House in a quaint Cornish village.

What a find to have come across. The Guest house exceeded all our expectations. Right from the start we felt as though we were part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room we had was comfortable with lots of little additions to make it even more comfortable. No wonder it has an AA four star rating. Anne and her Father Harvey went out of their way to be attentive and always had time to talk and discuss things with you. The food was wonderful with so much choice. Ann would tailor it to the individuals particular needs. Although they had relations staying we were treated exactly as they were. As I said we felt part of the family. Opposite the guest house is a pub which is ideal for an evening meal/snack which the owners of the Guest house use themselves. A good spot on the Roseland area to walk or travel elsewhere. We would recom mend this Guest House highly to anyone and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Home away from home

Elerkey Guest House was the perfect residence for us during our trip to Cornwall. Annie was delightfully welcoming and her hospitality far exceeded some of the world's best 5 star hotels. Our only complaint was that we left a day too early and should have stayed an extra night to truly enjoy the area and all it had to offer. We will most certainly look to return.

Lovely little property with excellent hosts

Charming little property in a quiet and beautiful village a short way from Carne beach. The proprietors are extremely welcoming and really make you feel welcome. Definitely going above and beyond to provide an outstanding service. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area. Cannot recommend highly enough. Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!

Lovely hotel with good pub across the road.

Made very welcome from the start,room very comfortable with everything you would need even cotton buds and cotton balls.Bed was very comfortable and outlook was pleasing.Breakfast were excellent with fruit ,jogurts,cereal,cooked or continental breakfast,plus toast and many preserves to choose from.Anne booked tables for us for dinner.Also with being an art studio there was much to look at wonderful paintings done by Anne's father also jewelery that Anne and her daughter made.It was a lovely place to spend s few days.I will definitely be recommending the hotel to all my friends,and will be going again.

Very pleasant stay at Elerkey.

We had a lovely time in Cornwall with a four-night stay at Elerkey with our four-month-old daughter. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly with our (young!) baby. The room was comfortable, if a bit small (we knew this going in, so it was not a surprise). I would not hesitate to recommend a stay there, and we will definitely consider it for a return to Cornwall. The only negative from our perspective was that Elerkey is rather distant from the major roads and tourist centres in Cornwall, so many of our days started with 20 minutes or more on the small country roads.

Absolutely fantastic!

From our warm welcome (cup of tea and freshly cooked lemon cake), to the huge bathroom, lovely comfortable bed etc etc... we could not fault this B&B. Dinner across the road to the pub for outstanding food and friendly atmosphere.

Great little Bed and Breakfast

A great little bed and breakfast run by Ann and her father Harvey. Harvey has his studio in the front of the property and it was nice to see his work, my wife and I enjoyed talking to him about his work. Both he and Ann were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Ann gave us tips about what to see and how to best get discounts for related activities. On two nights Ann and Harvey kindly booked a table for us at the pub oposite the property.

Clean and nice, with exceptional good service

A nice B&B with a very service minded owner. We were greeted with complementary scones and coffee/tea. Free homemade English breakfast, made to your own liking. Rooms where clean and spacious.
