True North Golf Club Tours and Activities

Had a great nights sleep. The people/staff were very nice. However, for the area, their breakfast was lagging.

While the rooms are somewhat minimalist updated, the hallways are not at all. Outstanding on-site dining. Price value of the room is substantially deficient. In purchasing this booking I concluded an elevated price of $902.00 for each of our 4 nights would provide an exceptional room and overall lodging experience. The property fell short on the lodging side. But the restaurant is wonderful. As a guideline to you, I offer the following. The fair all (taxes, all fees) in price for lodging is around $300.00 +/- 15% per night at this property. Anything you pay beyond this is just profit harvesting. And has zero value associated with any higher room rate so adjust your expectations accordingly. My spouse shared his concerns with the GM, and he sent a bottle of champagne which was nice, but this does not correct over selling and under delivering lodging value.

The esthetic of the buildings and grounds are very pleasing at first glance. In reality it appears to be an old econo lodge type motel remodeled with mcm details, but the musty smell remains in the room. The shower curtain liner was stained. The staff was very nice and the restaurant gets very busy for dinner with both guests and locals. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the menu was well planned. The property is not on the beach. There is a nature preserve across the street, about a 30 minute walk to get to the beach. There was no car access to the nature preserve during road work.
