About this property

An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

  • This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

    We live on the same 5 acres as The Studio. We value our privacy and we respect yours. The Studio is very private. We typically see our guests when they arrive and occasionally run into guests in our driveway. We are available if anyone needs anything, but we are very non-intrusive. We really want our guests to feel secluded in the forest.

    There are two large and one small dog that live and roam free on our property. If you are not comfortable with dogs, then this property will not be a good fit for you.

    This cabin can only accommodate two people. If you arrive with additional guests, you will be asked to leave and forfeit the cost of the rental.

    We will happily accommodate photographers and hair and make-up if you are getting married.
