Good hotel c lose to city centre
A good find - very close to the city centre and easy to get about. Secure underground parking was great and the room was large (5th floor) but a few issues with housekeeping as think it had only been set up for one instead of two... reception dealt with it quite quickly. Great coffee machine at breakfast and lots of options to keep you going. Staff were efficient.

Staff was helpful...even providing useful advice on things to do, where to eat, transportation info. This hotel is a short walk across a scenic bridge from the downtown square but still very quiet. I'd stay here again.

The location was great. It was a beautiful hotel but there wasn’t coffee available for guests as we found in all the other hotels we used.

Second stay at the Arte Hotel, Linz.
Excellent service from both the check in and housekeeping staff. Room, and bathroom were clean, fresh and well supplied. We didn’t take breakfast or any other meals at the hotel. Secure car park is under the hotel and is chargeable.

Best sleep ever
Great hotel. Don't know exactly why but I slept so well throughout my stay. Staff was friendly and the other guests were also really friendly. Spacious room, good car park. Sauna was ok and the fitness room has very basic aerobic machines.

Okay hotel, beds uncomfortable for us.
The location of the hotel is across the river from the main square. This was fine for us but maybe less convenient depending on where you want to be in town. The hotel was fine and clean but we found the bed incredibly uncomfortable, it was very hard which I normally don't mind but we had several poor nights sleep. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but serves drinks in the evening in a fairly soulless lobby. Breakfast is available but we went to a bakery around the corner.

Modern, clean, and conveniently located. Rooms are smal but comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the main town plaza and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpfuL.

In addition to having a new feel, this hotel is quiet. In 7 days I never heard any noise from other rooms or from the hallway, despite that there were other people staying in adjacent rooms. The only slight negative observation is that the breakfast tomato had been sliced in half too long before I saw them and they were dried out & wrinkled . Stay here to have restful nights on comfey beds! And the staff keeping the rooms clean are excellent.

Good base for exploring Linz or surrounding areas
We spent 3 nights at the SPITZ hotel, our second visit to the city. We chose this hotel for its location and essential air conditioning. It can be exceptionally warm at this time of the year - averaged 35C when we were last here. Easy walking into the old part of the city, and the hotel is just a 100 metres or so from the nearest bus and tram stops. Underground parking was clean and efficient. Check in was swift. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. We can’t comment on the in hotel dining, as we ate out each evening, and equally took breakfast in the city following an early stroll.

A trendy makeover with pleasant staff. I couldn't get on to their wi-fi and they couldn't either! Quick wall across the bridge to the old town, so very convenient for business or pleasure. Parking charged at €12 per day.

A modern style, friendly hotel
A really nice modern style hotel. Room is clean, well organized and spacious, with a lot of amneties. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and available 24 hours. Quality of breakfast is great and fresh. But might need a bit more variety. Hotel is close to the center, you only need to walk cross a bridge to be in the center. I recommend it and will definitly stay there again.

Modern stylish hotel
Lovely modern hotel with a great bathroom, powerful shower and well equipped trendy room. Had my own walkout balcony, perfect if you smoke. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and Über professional. Hotel has it's own underground secure car park but there is free on-street parking on Sunday. Had a lovely and quiet stay. Town centre, pubs and clubs only 10-15 minute walk over the main bridge crossing the Danube...nice.
