"One of the best houses we have ever rented. The pool and outdoor space was fabulous!!! Erica was responsive with some great recommendations. The house has everything you need. As a group of 6 people we had a lovely week traveling around the area. Took the train from San Nicola to Palermo, a great way to go."

"We arrived mid October in the middle of a huge storm. The effect of the storm caused a massive dump of seaweed right up to the property and those adjacent. It was impossible to walk along the beach . There was great volume of plastic debris that had washed up with the seaweed. There was no attempts to clear it including a plastic sunbed that was smashed up and half burned by the sea weed.. when the storm abated locals came each morning to fish and left their litter, including plastic behind. "We had a lovely 4 night stay in May, with perfect weather for enjoying the fantastic outdoor room with tub overlooking the water. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the three bedrooms are "open concept" without privacy. The converted apartment includes a "loft" bedroom with a low ceiling and tricky stairs. "The hosts were delightful. However, The description was misleading. The Home sweet Home was not a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the beach was dirty and full of garbage. You needed a car to get there. Plus the home was on a main road, car noises all night, not the quiet oasis depicted in the advertisements."
