« The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night. »

Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending.The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. « Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. « Our stay in Schroon Lake was perfect. The proximity to the downtown area was so close. Our family was able to enjoy many of the restaurants and shopping the town had to offer. We even saw a movie at a classic theater. But the best part of our trip was getting to meet and talk to our hosts. They are by far two of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met.
