Country Getaway Lodge/Ranch near Saratoga Springs

  • This lodge is ideal for hosting a large family, bachelor party or group. The space is very large and open. This property is an old barn converted into a newly remodeled space with original beams, wide board wood floors and high ceilings, gas fireplace and hot tub! The parlor games and lawn games provide infinite entertainment. We are surrounded by rolling hills and farmland and private animal preserve. Also nearby: Ski area/vineyards. Saratoga is 30 min/ 28 miles.

    The space is open, airy, and bright. On the main floor, there is a kitchen, large seating area with all leather couches/chairs, a grand dining table, a gas stove, pool table, card table, foose ball and dart board. There is a loft/bedroom upstairs with two single beds. All other beds are on same level as kitchen/living area. There are 2 bedrooms off the main area. Then there is a door to back area. In this area is a private bedroom (with queen, 2 single), then a semi private loft, and a semi private single bedroom. In the middle area is a small living area with a day bed/trundle. Outdoor games include Kan Jam, corn hole, and horseshoes and fire pit.

Awesome House

Awesome place to stay with a larger group. The house has a ton of character. Property has anything and everything you could possibly need for a great long weekend getaway. Would very much recommend staying here.

Perfect Place for Buddies Weekend

Property was outfitted with everything you would need for a great weekend stay with friends. We enjoyed the home & property very much. Even got to see a meteor shower sitting around the firepit at night - Couldn’t have picked a better place for a buddies trip.

Our family was able to spend 3 1/2 days in this fabulous home. The fully open floor plan allowed everyone to be fully involved with all family members which we found so enjoyable. All bedrooms on the same floor were also a plus. Property manager, JR, was on site 24/7 to assist us with anything we needed, so helpful. We spent most of our time using the sauna, hot tub, and fire pit. All three were just a few steps outside the side door onto the very large deck. The entire family absolutely LOVED the horseshoe pits. We use to play weekly when we were kids as it was a favorite past for our deceased dad/grandpa. We shared memories of him, especially our lighted horseshoe pit at the homestead that he was so proud of. The taxidermy added to the feeling of the hunting lodge with wooden floors, high ceilings, and comical interior decorations. All in all, it was a great time in a beautiful location. Very serene and we were able to get the needed relaxation that we were all looking for on this family vacation. Thank you Sally, David, Charlie, and JR!

Buddy’s Bachelor Party

8 of us came up to Albany from NJ to go to the baseball hall of fame, hit some breweries in Saratoga Springs and Albany, and went to a Valleycats baseball game. We loved coming back to the spacious house and enjoy playing all of the games and billiards, was very relaxing and everything was easily accessible. I’ll absolutely stay here again if I will coming up to the area again with a group! Thanks so much!!

This is a great house with a great feel. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Lots of room for everyone! We enjoyed the pool table. Nice big dining room table that fit everyone. Would definitely recommend this house!

Great Spot for a Getaway

The place has plenty of beds throughout and is in a quiet secluded area not too far from Saratoga Springs. There's plenty to do in an around the house including a pool table, poker table, hot tub, fire pit, and plenty of space for lawn games and sports. Rental experience was very easy and the hosts are great. I would recommend this to any group up to 15.

Great Vacation

We had a great time at Sally's place. I stayed over February break with my siblings and their children. There was so much to do for the kids and adults (pool table, games, hot tub, foosball) and plenty of space to spread out. We had plans to go out and do things, but we ended up just staying in most of the time and hanging out. There was a fire pit that we used to make smores and everyone enjoyed hanging in the hot tub. Sally was very responsive. We had an issue with the hot tub but she had it fixed almost immediately. I would definitely recommend this place for a large group looking to relax!

Awesome Lodge Retreat

We held our family reunion at the lodge and it met and exceeded our expectations! The lodge was HUGE and could easily fit our multiple families. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with basics. There were plenty of backup toilet paper and paper towels, lots of towels and blankets, etc. The icing on the cake was that the lodge had 2 Christmas trees and lights and decorations which made our Christmas away from home a blessing. THANK YOU!
