"The hotel is in a very scenic location on a mountain above Zermatt. Transportation was easy with the cable car stop only a five minute walk to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. "This property was the perfect choice for our 3 night stay in Zermatt. It was right in the center of town with only a 5 min walk to the train station yet it still felt peaceful and quiet. "We actualy were move over to Mont Cervin Palace (Sister property). Wonderful experience. Staff exceptional in every way. Helpfull and friendly. Property: wonderful. Great breakfast and breakfast staff. Pool was very nice. We were primarily hiking in the area so it was nice to have a pool available at the end of a long day in the mountains. Location: centre of the town. Everything is walkable. Loads of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes. I recommend and would stay here again."

"Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient. Right across the street from the train station, which was especially nice as I left Zermatt...
