Excellent hôtel. Very clean, excellent amenities, spa, pool and fitness. Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff.
Lovely Hotel with very friendly staff and near to the centre of the village. Also nice, they have got English TV channels and not just the news channels like many hotels. Breakfast had a nice selection. All in all would recommend.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The actual hotel is beautiful with excellent facilities, but the staff are unbelievable and made our stay. I hardly ever do reviews but I have to recommend this hotel. Saas Fee is a beautiful ski village and loved everything about it.
Usually at five-star properties, especially in desirable locations, the cost scales up much faster than what you get. The Capra is an exceptional property: wonderful location, facilities, and service at a very fair price. All the staff are friendly and welcoming; the breakfast is a la carte, but substantial and served quickly; and the common spaces are a great place to be stuck indoors when it rains. The goodie bag at departure is a small touch, but really drives home the property’s commitment to guest experience.
Felt luxurious and special in every way; the family especially enjoyed the pool/s, spa and games room. We ate at both Brasserie 1809 and Spielboden by The Capra; from the stupendous breakfasts available and wide choice of delicious cuisine it was an undoubted highlight!
The Capra is one of the best hotel experiences I ever had.
We keep going back anytime we can. This is the one place where service is at its utmost definition.
Truly a magical time. Everything was perfect. We could not have asked for a better last minute stay. It was utterly beautiful from start to finish.

The Capra Saas-Fee is a beautiful 5-star hotel, but for us it simply didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the price.
The hotel itself is lovely, but the service didn’t feel particularly personalised or attentive. We even had to ask three times for our cable car passes. First, they had the wrong email address despite us providing it at check-in; then, even after correcting it, nothing came through. We ultimately had to insist on having the passes printed so we could actually use them.
If you’re coming mainly for the spa, I’d think twice: with only 24 rooms and just 8 loungers around the pool, the spa area felt crowded and the loungers were constantly occupied. Even basic amenities, such as warm tea, weren’t replenished regularly.
Breakfast is fully à la carte, which is a nice concept, and we loved the little cake left in our room on arrival. However, the pastries at breakfast felt pre-made, and there was very little in terms of cakes or biscuits.
The restaurant is good, but definitely book in advance.
Our room was also disappointing in terms of the view, we mainly looked directly onto the building in front of us.
Overall, it’s a nice hotel and certainly deserves its 5-star status, but for the price, we expected a much more refined and personalised experience. In short: overpriced for what you get and, in our opinion, not worth the hype.
