"We had a lovely few days in Walled Garden Mews 10 in Melfort Holiday Village. It was well thought-out and so comfortably slept four adults and two children on the sofa bed on the mezzanine. There was plenty of storage and the kitchen was one of the best equipped I've come across in a holiday let. The facilities were great; the children were able to run free and enjoy the games rooms and the swings that were just next door/outside and we all loved going to the pool, which was beautifully warm....

Bedrooms and bathroom recently decorated and beds comfortable but both bedrooms could do with some more furniture (dressing table/chair/hooks?). Not as well equipped as expected and some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing (saucepans and utensils). "This hotel could not have been situated in a better location! We arrived in the rain with luggage and bags in toe. And literally walked right across the street from the train station to the Pearle Oban. Nick at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and helpful with Oban information. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom too, they even supplied washcloths here. The modern shower here was incredible, with an easy to read temperature dial. We were able to unpack our toiletries bag on a spacious shelf as well. The continental breakfast bar was plenty and they also made eggs to order. We enjoyed seeing cheerful Beatrice at breakfast each morning! All in all, a perfect hub and great stay at this location."
