Parking

Posted 3-Dec-2016
Wouldn't expect to have to pay for parking in a hotel not located in the core of the city. $13.. plus when you need to park underground I had to call the front desk, it's also a maze of doors from the parking garage to the hotel elevator.

Not Impressed

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Pros: The staff was very friendly and professional. Checking in was a pleasure and they tried their best to accommodate. We also liked the lobby.
Cons: Accurate advertising. Clean rooms. Properly functioning plumbing and electronics.
Location: Location was great! Close to highways, connecting one to uptown and downtown. The Ontario Science Centre is close by.
The room did NOT look like advertised. The pictures on the hotel website show a modern, clean room and that's definitely not what we got. A toilet that barely flushed, dated room heater which made the curtains flail, peeling wall paper, a non-working television set (cable was out), a stalled wifi connection, a broken alarm clock which couldn't be programmed, peeling paint on the bathroom door, stained surfaces (nightstand, dresser), and the cherry on the cake: we asked for a DO NOT DISTURB sign (our room didn't have one), the desk staff brought one up, we put it in the door and when we came back, we found housekeeping in our room. They didn't find the sign on our door, because it was STOLEN. Oh, yeah. Classy. The hotel manager offered us an upgrade, but due to the wifi not working on Friday night to Saturday morning, I didn't get his email until after 1:00 AM. I called him back, left a message and he never got back to me.

Wonderful- ladies weekend

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: Quiet!! No problem sleeping. Room service for five ladies for breakfast - all orders to perfection! Beds so comfy
Cons: main entrance a little difficult for those who had issues walking - found out later that there is a ramp at the side
Location: Close to highway. Tim's at corner we were there to veg
This hotel was quiet! Beds amazing, room service fantastic. Would go back in a heartbeat- we had three rooms with five ladies. We were all very pleased. At the time of our stay , they were upgrading an elevator, but it didn't really interfere with service.

Central location, easy access, reasonably priced.

Posted 27-Nov-2016
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Parking was a bit tight at times. Underground spaces were opened up.
Location: Aga Khan is worth the visit.
Our actives were all around Toronto for 4 days. This location was central for us and well placed.

Don't expect much

Posted 23-Nov-2016
Pros: Location. Close to highway and good shopping at Shops of Don Mills.
Needed to book a hotel near home due to renovations in the home. Staff at check in were rude. As I was trying to explain about my reservation the staff said, "are you done yet". She also took a phone call while I still checking in, generally disrespectful and rude. In general front desk staff had poor customer service and responsiveness. Front lobby looks nice, but I wouldn't give the rooms a 3 star rating, more like 2.5. Room had condom wrappers and gross hair ties that had not been cleaned up. Cleaning staff disregarded signs on the door stating do not disturb and tried to enter the room. $50 a night deposit, despite having paid for the week in full is unreasonable and not an industry standard. Price was good, and the reason we booked. If you can book it for less than $100, as we did, and you aren't staying a long time, I would say for the $ go for it.

All right but at a good price

Posted 23-Nov-2016
Pros: Breakfast is good, but not included, about 13$ for the buffet, all right.
Cons: New elevator rather than a given poster saying that it is ordored or on its way. Hotel registration office not visible when coming in.
Location: We went for business, there's gotta be something out there.
Renovations, parking fees and elevator that is soon to be replaced, but still makes us unsure if we are going to make it up or not.
