WiFi was down for most of my stay. Planned to work from the hotel, but had to go to the office instead... I was looking forward to work by the pool and not being able to do that sucked...

Good location easy to find close to amenities

Enjoyed staying at the Don valley hotel I think you should offer your paying guests free parking instead of a fee for parking

Nice and convenient

Posted 6-Jun-2017
Pros: Balcony in our room giving out on a mini-forest.
Cons: Needs a little modern touch - old carpet with stains in hallway. Room is updated.
Location: close to Ontario Science Center and Don Valley expressway
Nice amenities : pool, balcony, outside bar Rooms comfortable Bathroom needs a little update (paint) and why was the counter so low? Perfect for a short stay. Tim Hortons at the corner of the street for breakfast!

Nice hotel close to hospital

Posted 19-May-2017
Pros: Tried the restaurant and food was great and the barmaid was very good, she really likes her job which is a good indication of staff treatment.
Cons: Include parking in room price or at least closer so you don't have to scroll a few pages to notice the extra cost.
Location: 5 minutes from Sunny-brook they have a pool but it wasn't open when we went.
The hotel was OK for the purpose of my trip, one night layover before appointment at Sunny-brook. Tried the restaurant and food was great and the barmaid was very good, she really likes her job which is a good indication of staff treatment. My only disappointment is that I didn't notice that you had to pay for parking and breakfast (not included in room rate) when I booked on line. I was looking for something cheap and close to hospital. I would book at this motel again if I needed to go to Sunny-brook again. Restaurant atmosphere with staff is a factor for going back, however, i wouldn't spend a week there.

Price doesn't meet expectations

Posted 17-May-2017
Pros: It was clean. There was an indoor and outdoor pool but I didn't get a chance to try it.
Cons: Accessibility, elevators, some room amenities and breakfast service.
Location: The Aga Khan Museum is 10 min walking and the Ontario Science Centre is about 20 minute walk. Tim Hortons is a short walk.
Staff at Check In were polite. The King room with balcony was ok - comfortable but needed some improvements. It would be nice to have a fridge in the room without it being an extra charge. The room could use an extra mirror by the desk and bit better lighting. The bathtub had a couple broken spots that need repair. There wasn't a chair on the balcony and a old pop can left behind. The breakfast is an extra charge and overpriced. I had to eat there one day but the staff in the restaurant were not polite or pleasant and the buffet items were running low or finished and were not replenished until we asked. The coffee is not fresh brewed and very poor quality as it comes out of a machine. The food itself was fine. I booked the hotel in this area because it advertised a local area shuttle. We found out that the shuttle service no longer exists and was a recent change in their services. It should have been removed from their website and OTA's right away. Close to the Aga Khan Museum and the Ontario Science Centre but otherwise there is not much else around there in terms of restaurants and services. There are a few steps to go up to get to the elevators which is inconvenient with luggage or accessibility. One elevator is out of service and sometimes you have to wait a bit because the other 2 elevators are also used by housekeeping.

Close to downtown

Posted 11-May-2017
Pros: Location, was very quiet.
Cons: Queenbeds. Refrigerator, and updated. Very tired. Update heating/cooling system. Elevators were being updated.
Wanted a hotel convent to downtown, cause going to theatre. Decent price, but a lot of extra fees. Room was spacious so why would there not be queen beds. The hotel was very tired. Looks like some updating was being done. No refrigerator unless you pay 30 dollars extra. Also had to pay for parking.
