Best little hotel I ever stayed
They are always accommodating. I am disabled and require special attention. I don't want to even have to consider another spot. Staff are excellent, very friendly. I'm sure we will be back again.

For the price of a down town Toronto , it was a good deal . Close to Eaton Centre. Room was clean . Beds comfortable . For the price , I would stay there again.

We really loved our stay at this hotel. Right from check in to check out the staff were so accommodating and efficient. They offered free parking and late checkout as part of our VIP booking with Expedia and even extended our parking until later on the checkout date, so we could visit my dad at Toronto General Hospital. Outstanding!!! Thank you for everything and we will see you again for sure. Shout out to Jin!!! Be well!

I did not like breakfast at all. For family with 2 kids the breakfast are not good enough. I was expecting something like table from I can pick up what I would like to eat... to have different possibilities what to drink (coffee, milk, tea,...). What did I not like was that it was quite loud on the hotel other quests were noisy during night

The hotel was in an excellent location. If you are looking for something in the middle of downtown this should be an option for you. Rooms are small but comfortable. Our first room was at the front and we asked to move because of the traffic noise. Back of hotel or higher floor much quieter. Staff were very good - pleasant and efficient.

Large room and very quiet. Nice location to many restaurants. They've added safe and hairdryers apparently missing earlier. Bathroom was smaller and lighting for makeup was poor. An excellent value.

A very positive firs time visit to the Saint James
Hotel was a very nice discovery. I arrived earlier than standard check in time but reception kindly gave me a room right away which was greatly appreciated as I had to get to an appointment and needed to freshen up. I requested a 45 minute delay in checkout time so I could get to a luncheon engagement which was happily accommodated. Overall a very pleasant stay with very nice front desk staff.

The room we stayed in was spacious. Everything we needed was provided - fridge, microwave, coffee machine, amenities, dryer, breakfast, etc. We want to stay there again when we go to Toronto next time. We will recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit Toronto.

The room itself was nice and reasonable, with a comfortable bed, and gorgeous bathroom. But the hallways were dark and dingy, not particularly clean. It seems that they are in the process of redoing the hotel, starting at least with the room quality.

From the moment we checked-in 'til our departure the staff was very friendly. Available coffee and water in the lobby was a nice touch. Very central to many areas of downtown Toronto. Parking next door was great and breakfast at Freshii was wonderful too.

I had to stay a week at this hotel and had a couple of special requests that they were able to accommodate easily. It really helped me out so I was grateful they were so flexible. Would recommend this hotel.

I didn’t like the property, the room felt very dusty, even the air in the room felt like your inhaling dust. The comfortability wasn’t great either due to those issues I just mentioned.

This is a small 38 room boutique hotel right in the heart of Toronto. Just 1/2 a block from Yonge St. it is within walking distance of the Eaton Centre and many restaurants. I was just gobsmacked when I entered my room. It was HUGE! the bedroom itself was larger than my master bedroom at home and the bathroom was larger than my guest bedroom! The bathroom was nicely appointed with a large shower and a free standing bathtub. The room itself had a king sized bed, small cube refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave oven. Other amenities included hair dryer, steam iron and ironing board as well as bathrobes and slippers. The few things I could nitpick about are that beside the office chair for the desk, there was nowhere else to sit. The room certainly large enough to accommodate a sofa and chair. The bed itself was comfortable but the sheets felt overly starched and stiff. The refrigerator was positioned in such a way that the edge of the door would hit the hinge of the bathroom door when you opened it. I found this out the hard way when closing the door! Breakfast was included with the room and was provided by Freshii, a chain restaurant you would find in many food courts in the city. They offer "healthy options" such as wraps and bowls and smoothies with ingredients including kale, quinoa, and avocado. Would have been nice just to get a bagel or croissant. The place was kept immaculately clean and was very quiet. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The staff very kindly allowed me to check in early since the room was ready. Simple and clean hotel, and they partner with Freshii to provide a basic hot breakfast. Great budget stay in the downtown area, and I would absolutely go back!
