Wonderful experience with the family, rooms are high quality, tasteful modern Japanese vibe. Customer service was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
very smooth entry. staff are very kind very helpful and respectful. much enjoyed my stay. Japan in summer is very hot the air conditioning in the room saved me.
much enjoyed my stay.
What a beautiful hotel. So close to Ueno and a very well connected train station. Service was great, room was beautifully fitted out. Would definitely stay again!
One of the best hotels we've stayed in. The room was large enough for a family of 4 and everything was super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Google maps brought us to the staff entrance at the rear but it was not much of a problem..
Room was lovely, nice location and staff were friendly and helpful.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. I left some personal belongings in room after check out and the staff is reacting quick and fast response to get it solved. The room is clean, same as photos and the location is great, few mins walk to Metro and JR stations, and surrounding by 3 majors convenience stores.
Beautiful and clean hotel, practically new.
Love the location very convenient and so much things surrounding within walking distance that you can do for a whole week or even longer. Will definitely comeback next visit to Tokyo Japan.
TABI Ueno was the perfect long stay hotel for our 2-week stay in Tokyo. Our room was clean and the staff was very accommodating with cleaning service and providing the basic amenities. The location was a 5-min walk to Ueno station and made getting around very easy. If you are looking for a place that us convenient to transport, has a washer/dryer in the room, and good value for the money then I highly recommend TABI Ueno!
I absolutely love this property. It is so beautifully designed and functionally efficient. The kitchen, washer/dryer and generous sized bedroom area was a bonus. Wifi was strong and outstanding for business and family stays. It is easy to get to the train station or arrange a cab for pickups. The staff was wonderful in their communications and support in advance and during our stay. It is a nice location with lots of places to eat or get groceries nearby. Highly recommend!
Amazing property. The location is very close to Ueno Station in a quiet neighborhood. Felt nice to escape the bustle of Tokyo when coming back to the room.
The room is very large for Tokyo. Washer and dryer in the room. Also a fridge, microwave and sink. Bathroom was a little small but the shower was very nice. The staff was excellent! They were super friendly and held our luggage for us no problem. The pillows were a little bizarre but it was a minor issue.
The only suggestion I have is to have separate trash bins for the burnable and non burnable trash.
The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. We thought it was great value for the busy season we were in Tokyo. There wasn’t much to fault, only one minor things which may have made the stay even better- another option for pillow (although this may have been available, and I just didn’t ask).
We spent 1 week in Tabi Ueno and it was the best experience so far! The staff that greeted us was very kind and explained everything. The rooms feel luxurious, lots of space and places to store your clothes and other items. They kindly ask you to remove the shoes inside the room and it truly feels like a modern Japanese home. Rooms are very spacious, we were on a moon room and we felt really good. AC works well, amenities are top notch, the slippers in the room were so comfy after walking all day. What we loved the most was the shampoo and other washing supplies, they smelled good.
Outside there is a 7-eleven nearby which was my daily driver.
Some Notes I have:
- The area is more of a working people area, I saw a lot of people in the area walking towards a building around 8-9 and the same at 5-6, there is a very nice area with food nearby.
- Sending luggage to another hotel is kind of hard, we couldn't sent our luggage to Kyoto through Yamato, we had to walk to the Yamato nearby and send it to another Yamato store which made logistics a little bit harder, it would be great if they found a way to work with Yamato for this.
In general everything was great and we loved our stay, if we have the chance to come back we would love to stay in there again.
Location is great, just few minutes to metro and close to Ueno skyliner. Convenience store include 7-11, Lawson and Family mart are all around. Room is clean.
