By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

The night staff (korean guy) very nice and pay attention to the guests. Inonly spend one night and move to other hotel, since i cant sleep with roll bed on the floor. The bathroom so small, but i guess it was standart for this kind hotel in Tokyo.

If you’re looking for a place just to sleep and be out the whole day then this is the perfect spot in shinjuku for an affordable price. Metro is super close and there are a lot of places to eat and shop around the area.

Great location! We made good use of our JR Pass while staying here. The room had everything we needed, was clean and in good condition. The only negative thing I have to say were that immediately outside the hotel door is a favourite smoking spot, so it's the first and last thing you smell each day.

The hotel is ok, it is conveniently located near shops and train station. The facilities are not that good and I think the room is small for a group of 6 people, max per room I think is 3 persons. No english speaking hotel employees which is quite an issue if the guest has no knowledge of the local language.

I loved the tatami flooring and the futons were comfortable. Very quiet and in such a great location. Food and the train station were only a short walk away. Decor may be outdated and floors slightly stained if that matters to you, but I enjoyed my stay regardless. Microwave, stove, electric kettle, and small dishes were provided. It had everything my group and I needed.

We didn't enjoy staying here unfortunately. It was a budget hotel so you can't redirect much. Bathroom was really not good, needed a good scrub and update. Futons were really thin and we all got sore hips, backs and shoulders. Felt like we were lying directly on the floor. On the plus side, area around is great for cosmetics shopping and close to shibuya.

This hotel is basic, but that doesn't mean it's a bad choice. The location is very close to a Yamanote line station, and lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Front desk staff were friendly. The room is a bit worn, but not dirty. You sleep on a futon matress on the floor. The bathroom is very small. I would definitely stay again, as a place to save money if im not spending a lot of time in the hotel.
