Great for a family although keep in mind it is one big room, so difficult to enjoy the place once our kids were asleep. It’s pretty quiet building! There is laundry which is so convenient! The area is safe and lots of restaurants to choose from. So close to subway station. I definitely recommend this place! The room is one of about a half dozen in a private apartment building at the end of a small cul de sac; there is no manager onsite. The shower smelled a little musty, though it was clean. The trash can organization system in the room was confusing (separating trash into plastics, etc.), and we weren't sure what to do with our food take-out plastic dishes. The walls are a little thin. One night, we could hear the neighbors and their child on the floor below us, walking and talking until about 11:00 p.m. In general, though, we had a quiet and pleasant stay. Gennoya is a quiet apartment building tucked away in a bustling neighborhood, only a few minutes walk to stores, restaurants, and trains.
